During this reporting period, health sector partners provided 284,035 outpatient consultations, an increase of approximately 50,000 from January. This is due both to increased compliance with reporting and additional numbers of outpatients seen at health facilities in February. The number of treatment courses distributed also increased from 146,148 in January to 181,212 in February, reacting increased cross-line deliveries to besieged areas. The lack of Skilled-Birth Attendants (SBA) in these areas means the number of births attended by qualied health professionals remains extremely low, but can also be partially explained by a high number of home deliveries and low reporting.

The largest number of trauma cases supported was in eastern Aleppo City (2,576), followed by the besieged town of Kafr Batna (565) and the hard to reach Qudsiya (513), both in Rural Damascus. Major geographic gaps in health service provision remain across Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa governorates. While the high number of cases supported in eastern Aleppo City is in part due to the large population living in this area compared with other HTR and besieged locations, it also reects the high conict levels that continue to be seen around Aleppo and the availability of trauma care facilities in the area.
